Medical governance
番茄影院's medical governance is guided by a group of highly experienced NHS professionals. They volunteer their time to support our work in the field.
Our work with explosives is dangerous, but minefield accidents are thankfully rare. We train local staff as paramedics and they play an important role in every 番茄影院 team. Their work is governed by standards and policies, which are set by 番茄影院's medical board.
The volunteer board includes surgeons, doctors, trauma specialists and paramedic instructors. They set the standards across all our programmes and develop paramedic training courses. This ensures the health and wellbeing of our staff in the field. We're enormously grateful to them all for their dedication to 番茄影院.
Our paramedics are trained to deliver emergency care for victims of explosives. They learn to handle every step, from stabilising the casualty, to safely delivering them to hospital. Our paramedics are also responsible for the wellbeing of our programme staff, who are often based in remote locations.
Safeguarding
Effective safeguarding is fundamental to our work. As an ethical charity, we make sure not to harm anyone who comes into contact with 番茄影院. We actively protect our staff wellbeing and promote ethical behaviour.
